Database design and entry are expensive, time-consuming tasks. We follow a step-wise procedure to build databases:
1) define the tables, fields, and administrative reports,
2) define field specifications, including edit checks,
3) write code to receive the data and generate reports,
4) verify each and every field, verify each and every report,
5) issue a specification report.
At data-entry time, we follow a process that suits your tastes. We can double-enter all the data, or double-enter key data fields and do visual spot checks on the remaining data. Our strategy is to build in quality up-front, to avoid duplicative efforts on the back-end.
Of course, you have complete ownership of the database.
